Toxin has a good use if you wanna add weight to whatever Toxin-based proc you're using, such as Viral or Gas.
Another thing is that you can mod Viral + Heat on most Hybrid Builds, adding Radiation to that is just extra damage. In high level you will not deal any damage to them but with gas and high status weapon while robotics are strong against gas and toxin. On normal levels you will not see any difference but when they have shield buff during sorties. For example corpus shields are strong against radiation and corrosive and protoshield strong even against fire.
